We are on the lookout for a Chef with experience in both pastry and the main kitchen to join our growing business.


Based in the kitchen at our new cafe & deli, Mini Miss Upstairs, you will support our Head Chef on day to day service of our seasonal menu. In addition you will produce a small but high quality selection of pastries and cakes for our counter, ultimately taking the lead on this section.


There is also opportunity for some shifts at our nearby bakery, Mini Miss Bread, therefore experience or a keen interest in learning sourdough is an advantage. 


Working with high quality, local and seasonal produce, this is an exciting opportunity to take on a new role within the business with continued encouragement to be creative, test new recipes and work with our passionate team to develop new areas of business growth.


Initially the role will be 4 days a week, including Saturdays, but the role will become full time once established.

Professional chef experience in both pastry and main kitchen

Experience or an interest in sourdough advantageous, but not essential

A passion for working with fresh, seasonal produce

A keen interest current food trends, menu and pastry development 

An eagerness to work productively with a can-do, flexible attitude

Reliable, organised and self-motivated with the ability to work equally as well as part of a team as when working alone.
