Here are some of the sourdough loaves that we bake at MMB. We rotate all our loaves so we have something different for you to try each week (please note - we do not have all of the below loaves available at all times, we'd need a much bigger shop!)


We are always experimenting and adding new loaves to our specials board so keep an eye on the board in the shop for our latest additions.

(100% Organic white flour, water, sea salt)
A traditional sourdough loaf using organic white flour to create a beautifully creamy, white and fluffy loaf. 520g approx.


(Organic white flour, organic wholemeal flour, water, sea salt)

40% wholemeal flour is used in this loaf to add a bit of wholemeal worthiness and flavour whilst retaining a nice, light texture.

(Organic white flour, organic wholemeal flour, water, sea salt)

A large, slightly denser version of the walden white shaped and baked in a large tin to offer a useful, easy to slice loaf perfect for toasting and sandwiches.

(100% Organic white flour, sunflower seeds, millet, oats, barley flakes, malted wheat flakes, water, sea salt)

The Walden White dough is mixed with a generous, blend of 5 seeds and flakes, pre soaked to infuse further flavour into the dough, resulting in a deliciously nutty flavoured sourdough whilst retaining the light texture of the Walden White.

(Organic malted multiseed flour, (50%), organic white flour (25%), organic wholemeal flour (25%), water, sea salt)
A beautiful, caramel coloured loaf made with a blend of organic white flour, organic stoneground wholemeal and a mix of malted wheat flakes, sesame, pumpkin and sunflower seeds. It has a lovely malty flavour adding depth to a delicious loaf. 540g approx.


(Organic white flour, organic wholemeal flour, water, malted wheat flakes, barley flakes, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, pine nuts, millet, oats, salt)

A 40% wholemeal loaf with a blend of 5 seeds mixed into the dough. 560g approx.

(Organic white flour, organic wholemeal flour, organic rye flour, water, sea salt)
A delicious loaf combining organic white (50%), organic wholemeal (25%) and organic rye (25%) flours creating a wholesome, darker loaf that's light in texture with a subtle rye flavour. 550g approx.



(Organic white flour, organic wholemeal flour, organic rye flour, water, sea salt)

The Wholewheat & Rye dough is mixed with a 15% blend of malted wheat flakes, barley flakes, sunflower seeds, millet and oats. It is then topped with a super seven mix of raw buckwheat, natural sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, hulled millet, golden linseed and brown linseed. So much goodness and energy in one loaf! 600g approx.

A very special loaf made with a stunning organic, malted flour from Priors Mill in Swaffham Prior. This flour creates a savoury, dark loaf with caramel, nutty flavours and added seeds for a little extra bite! Not to be mistaken for 'Malt Loaf'... this is a savoury loaf that goes beautifully with salted butter or cheese. 550g approx.


(Organic white flour, organic wholemeal flour, red leicester cheese, mature cheddar cheese, water, sea salt)

A real indulgence! Generous heaps of Mature Cheddar and Red Leicester cheese are grated into the dough to create a super cheesy sourdough with cheesy pockets hidden in the crumb of the loaf. ENJOY! 600g+/880g+ approx.


(Organic white flour, organic spelt wholemeal flour, organic walnuts, water, sea salt)

A delicious loaf to enjoy with butter and honey or with a more savoury addition of cheeses. Made with 30% spelt flour to compliment the flavour of the walnuts. 820gg approx.


(Organic white flour, organic light rye flour, organic walnuts, organic cranberries, water, sea salt)

The walnut sourdough is sweetened slightly with the addition of cranberries creating a burst of flavour and a pop of colour! 600g approx.


(Organic white flour, organic wholemeal flour, water, olive oil, potato, rosemary, sea salt)

This rustic loaf is taken to another level with the addition of olive oil and baked, mashed potato mixed into the dough giving it a super soft crumb. The loaf is enhanced further with chunks of potato and freshly chopped rosemary. 700g approx.


(Organic white flour, organic 100% cocoa, organic 70% couverture chocolate, water, sea salt)

This decadent loaf is a real treat, making an indulgent centrepiece to the weekend breakfast table...if it even makes it that far! 100% cocoa and a generous smattering of 70% chocolate chunks are added to the dough creating a dark, savoury sourdough loaf with rich chocolate accents. Available in two sizes. 500g/800g approx.

*please note we sometimes add additional ingredients to the Chocolate Sourdough loaves e.g. dried fruit, nuts etc. Please check before ordering if you have any food intolerances.



(Organic white flour, full fat milk, dark honey, sea salt)

The water in this loaf is replaced by milk and delicately sweetened by local honey. The resulting loaf is a soft, golden coloured loaf delicious served with plenty of butter and a cup of tea. Also particularly delicious toasted! 580g approx.


(Organic white flour, organic wholemeal flour, kalamata olives, green olives, sea salt, herbs de provence)

Pitted and chopped kalamata and green olives are folded into the dough. 10% wholemeal flour is added along with a sprinkling of herbs de provence. 650g approx.



(Organic white flour, water, mature cheddar cheese, marmite, sea salt)

A new addition to the MMB repertoire, this loaf is for all those marmite lovers out there. Marmite is melted into the warm water used to make this loaf before a generous heap of mature cheddar is mixed into the dough. A delicious base for cheese on toast, toasted with lashings of butter or simply torn and eaten on the run. 550g approx.


(Organic white flour, water, butter, wild garlic, sea salt)

A seasonal loaf available only during the short wild garlic season. A wild garlic butter is added to the centre of the dough during the final shape which melts into the dough during baking. An MMB favourite. 550g approx.

Shipton Mill Untreated White Flour: Organic WHEAT flour, calcium, carbonate, iron, niacin, thiamin

Priors Mill Stoneground Wholemeal Flour: Organic WHEAT grain

Priors Mill Malted Multiseed Flour: Organic WHEAT flour, organic malted WHEAT flakes, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, linseed seeds, sesame seeds, malt powder.

Priors Mill Dark Malt Flour: Organic WHEAT wholemeal, white and spelt flours, malt powder, pumpkin seeds, linseed and sunflower seeds. 

Other ingredients used across the range: millet, oats, barley flakes, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, linseed, cheddar cheese, red leicester cheese, salt, semolina, cocoa, 72% dark chocolate (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, fat reduced cocoa powder, emulsifier, sunflower lecithin, flavouring), potatoes, rosemary, olive oil, full fat milk, honey, marmite, dried cranberries, dried cherries, kalamata olives, green olives, herbs de provence, butter, wild garlic, hazelnuts, walnuts, chilli flakes, chilli peppers. Additional ingredients not listed here may be used at any time.
